Absent Place—an April Day—

Daffodils a-blow

Homesick curiosity

To the Souls that snow—

Drift may block within it

Deeper than without—

Daffodil delight but

Him it duplicate—

Adrift! A little boat adrift!
Absence disembodies—so does Death
